Create your first assignment

Create Assignments Using Four Options

You have four different options for creating or finding your first assignment.

New Assignment

Use the New Assignment option to create assignments with our assignment editor. You can customize your assignments with sections, subsections, four different types of questions, and instructions.

Details about how to use the assignment editor to customize your assignment can be found in our Creating Autogradable Assignments How-to Guide.

Import from File

The Import from File option allows you to grab all of the text and image information from an existing PDF or image file of an assignment and add it to your assignment. Just draw a box around the text or image to add it to your assignment. No need to type it all out or even copy-paste it all.

Details about how to use the Import from File option to create your assignment can be found in our Creating Autogradable Assignments How-to Guide.

Magic!

With Magic!, we will import your assignment to your account for you. All you have to do is send your blank assignment and answer key to content@bakpax.com and we’ll convert it into an autogradable assignment that you can use with your students.

After you send us your assignment, we will reach out to ask about the due date, assignment subject and grade, and possibly more. This additional information will help us make sure we set up the assignment correctly and meet everyone's needs.

Ready-Made Discover Library

You can browse through our Discover library of free, ready-to-use assignments to find something to use with your students. We have textbooks, getting started collections, and assignments made and shared by teachers who use Bakpax available for a wide range of grade levels, class subjects, and concepts.

Details about how to use assignments from the Discover library can be found in our Discover Free Assignments How-to Guide.
